Weekly Updates

Short week this week as Friday is a holiday. Students will be given a Ziploc with two masks at the end of each day. They will need to wear one on the bus in the morning and we will change them after lunch. Masks are being provided by the school.
Integers, Temperature and Cartesian Grids in Math this week. Always a good idea to review multiplication tables.
We will be continuing Organ Systems this week in Science; Respiratory System.
Government unit in Citizenship is in full swing, looking at the Parliamentary System, different styles of government and Democracy.
Continuing the response process (focusing on Structures and Features) in Language Arts. We will be looking at different short films and responding to them. Students are encouraged to read nightly for 15 minutes.

Mathematica is a website that I have been using for many years with my students. It is the site that has practice tests for our yearly school math competition.
